This time round it also resulted in us upgrading our tickets for the show the following day to which we already had tickets for - out of control I know. A day in a queue normally consists of sleeping, chatting, laughing alot, eating and getting ready and making friends. From 6am we queued up until you got let into the arena which I believe is maybe 7pm for the support artists. Second London show we decided to queue, so there we were - chairs, duvets and blankets in hand outside the 02 at 6am - there were only 2 people in front of us, which now happen to be our very good friends to this day. Fun fact about the first show is that not to our knowledge, in the same area, practically right behind us Harry Styles was dancing the night away - very glad I didn’t find out this information until the show was over. The staging, lighting and choreo in this show was exquisite and when it comes to her and her voice I’m afraid I don’t really have the words. First 02 London show was the 17th August 2019, the stage for this show is confusing yet spectacular - for the first two shows we was in an area called the golden circle which was at the front of the catwalk stage (not that you actually care) the first show we didn’t queue, we chilled somewhat towards the back and danced but still had a magnificent view. For every show of this tour, I attended with my two best friends Connor and Sarah, so at least I have my closest friends to share my crazy with. I always get quite emotional when I see Ariana, I think it's a mixture of not seeing her for years at a time and also how much I look up to and adore her. Embarrassingly, I think my friends bought me the tickets to all of these shows except maybe 1 or 2 but all in all I saw this show 5 times and visited another country in the process. However, the Sweetener World Tour is what we’re here to talk about. I think I’ve been a fan of Ari now for about 7 years but have only actually seen her live a handful of times due to her being from the US but within those 7 years I’ve seen her on two out of her three tours (due to the Manchester attack) attended the Manchester one love concert and actually met her but that photo will never see the light of day. Without a doubt she has theee best voice of this generation and I will fight anyone that tells me otherwise! There is not a note that the girl can’t hit, literally there isn’t. This girl has been through hell and back the last couple of years but she’s battled through with her mental health and released some of the most magical songs because of it and achieved things that have put her in the history books at the young age of 27.
Like I said in my Harry blog, I don’t ever really tend to like something the normal amount and there's no exception when it comes to Ariana. Another tour blog! Yes I’m also a weirdo for Ariana Grande too.
