This is a clean slate install of the game with only all the OFFICIAL patches, DLC and Append sets up to applied 3. If it didn't have that, I bet not many people would play it. The only thing this game has going for it is the character creation (and hentai parts for those who want it). Really repetitive if you're just playing for that part, though (or any part probably, I wouldn't know because I only play for character creation). Repeating dialogue is worse in this game, though. Just look at pacthesis games or Harvest Moon. Not all otome games are visual novels, you know. Artificial Academy Character Maker English Sub 3 years ago Some otome games have repeating dialogue. Obviously not many people would play this game if it weren't for the creation and hentai because it's meant for hentai, but I think if it weren't for the fact this is a hentai game made by hentai developers. Harvest Moon is a Otome game though? Yeah, I use to play this game for the character creator too (Cant now though because Windows 10) But after awhile it grew on me, it's actually surprisingly challenging and fun to try and hook up with people without cheating. I haven't really seen any otome games that aren't 2D picture books. 3 years ago Jones Aren't all Otomes in that visual novel style though? AA2, however, does not have much gameplay. Which means AA2 is more of a otome game than Harvest Moon is. Although maybe not completely because it's main focus isn't soley based on ending up with a love interest. Source: So yes, I think Harvest Moon can be considered an otome game. I may be misunderstanding what they mean by 'story based', though. None of the Japanese descriptions I read (about 5) mentioned it has to be story based. I decided to look at definitions on Japanese websites because, you know, Japan is the source of otome. In English, two stated that otome games are strictly story based games (Wikipedia and Cannonette), while about 3 or so agreed with me. ¯(ツ)/¯ I read a whole bunch of descriptions and it seemed to be a bit varied.

Although this game is not targeted towards a female audience, AA2 fits my description just fine otherwise. 3 years ago +1I consider an otome game to be any kind of dating simulator/romantic visual novel targeted towards the female audience where you end up with one of the love interests.

The program make act like it's not responding sometimes, but it is. Then go back to the beginning and open the program by double clicking the IllusionWizzard.exe and apply mods.

Put the.zip files of the mods you want there. Put that folder into the game folder then go into the folder, go into the AA2Play folder, and then the mods folder.
